Virgo in one line
Earth (the material, the measurable) + mutable (adjusts what already exists) = refining material reality through repeated adjustment. Editing the draft. Debugging the code. Adjusting the dose. Rehearsing the passage.
The anxiety is a symptom of the function, not the function. Ask what the precision is for.

Every planet has a sign it rules and a different sign where it is exalted. Mercury is the exception — both are Virgo. It is the strongest essential dignity any planet gets, and it is why Pisces (the opposite) is Mercury’s detriment and fall at once.

Gemini Mercury is free. Virgo Mercury is accountable. Both are strong — only one of them has to be right.

Solar phase — condition, not sign
A planet’s distance from the Sun changes its condition regardless of what sign it sits in.
- Under the beams — within ~15°. Invisible in the sky.
- Combust — within ~8°. Traditionally weakened.
- Cazimi — within ~17′. Not burned — enthroned.
The Virgo–Pisces polarity
One function split in half: discernment and dissolution. Virgo separates (this is not that). Pisces merges (all of this is one).
Virgo asks: what needs fixing?
Pisces asks: what needs accepting?
Virgo fails by missing the whole for the parts. Pisces fails by missing the parts for the whole. Each needs what the other has.
