Before We Begin

What Is Intuition?

The quiet information that arrives before you've consciously reasoned your way there — a hunch, a flash of image, a feeling in the body, a sudden knowing.

Tonight is about practicing the noticing. There's no pressure to interpret anything correctly, and no wrong impressions.

5–7 Minutes

Grounding + Intuition Meditation

breathe with the light

Get comfortable wherever you are. You don't have to sit any particular way — just let your body settle.

If you're comfortable, close your eyes. Or simply soften your gaze. Take a slow breath in, and exhale.

Take another breath, and begin noticing your body — where you're sitting, the support underneath you, your feet, your hands, your shoulders.

You don't need to make anything happen. Just bring your awareness inward for a moment. Notice what you're experiencing without trying to interpret it — a sensation, an emotion, a word, an image, a memory, a sudden thought. Or perhaps nothing noticeable at all. We're simply practicing awareness.

Now imagine your awareness extending slightly beyond yourself. Notice the space around you.

Without searching for an answer, quietly ask yourself: What am I noticing right now?

Give yourself a few moments.

And then ask: What does my intuition feel like when I'm not trying to force it?

Don't worry about whether it makes sense. Just notice.

Take one more slow breath. Feel your body again. Feel your feet. Notice the room around you. And whenever you're ready, open your eyes.

host note — leave 10–15 seconds of silence before speaking again

Four Ways It Arrives

The Channels of Intuition

You may recognize one more than the others — or a blend of several.

S

Seeing

Clairvoyance

Images, symbols, and visual impressions — a picture, a color, a scene that surfaces in the mind's eye.

Does this already happen naturally for you?

F

Feeling

Clairsentience

Body sensations, feelings, and atmosphere — a shift in the chest, a mood in the room, a physical knowing in the gut.

Does this already happen naturally for you?

H

Hearing

Clairaudience

Words, phrases, names, or sounds — a sentence that pops in, a name that repeats, a tone that lingers.

Does this already happen naturally for you?

K

Knowing

Claircognizance

A sudden knowing without an obvious reason — the answer arrives whole, before you can explain how you got there.

Does this already happen naturally for you?

Rarer, But Worth Knowing

Two More Channels

Clairalience — smelling something, like perfume or smoke, with no physical source nearby.

Clairgustance — tasting something, often linked to mediumship, a flavor tied to a memory or a person.

Let's Try It

Practice Together: First Impression

  1. One volunteer steps forward.
  2. Everyone briefly focuses on that person — their name, or their video square.
  3. Notice one thing only: a color, word, image, sensation, emotion, place, object, or completely random thought.
  4. About 30 seconds of quiet.
  5. Go around and share what surfaced.
  6. The volunteer simply responds: "That resonates," "I'm not sure," or "That doesn't resonate."

The goal is noticing information — not proving anything, or making every impression fit.

Before We Go

A Closing Reset

Take one breath, and bring your attention back to yourself. Notice your body, and your surroundings, again.

Whatever you experienced tonight, you don't have to decide right now what it meant. Sometimes intuitive impressions make sense immediately — sometimes they become clearer later.

Take what was useful tonight, and leave the rest.
